These Terms govern use of the TAIYAKI AI conversational service and related features, including member rights and duties, paid points, payments, withdrawal, and refunds.
These Terms reflect the current service: signup, AI conversations, pre-registered image display, point top-ups, domestic Toss payments, overseas Stripe payments, and paid time-limited features.
Effective date: October 9, 2026 (from deployment of this update)
These Terms set out the conditions for using TAIYAKI, an AI conversational service operated by Taiyaki Studio, and define the rights, duties, paid points, payments, withdrawal, refunds, and service rules that apply between members and the operator.
The operator posts these Terms where members can review them, including signup, settings, payment, or linked policy screens. The Terms take effect when a member agrees and completes signup or uses the Service.
The operator may revise these Terms within the scope permitted by law. Material or disadvantageous changes will be announced in advance through appropriate channels such as in-service notices, email, or notifications.
The service contract is formed when the user agrees to the required signup terms and completes the signup process. The current signup flow requires agreement to the Terms of Service, consent to personal information collection and use, and confirmation that the user is at least 18 years old. Existing members must also confirm the updated age requirements and terms before using chat, creation, and other service features. This is self-attestation, separate from identity or PASS adult-content verification.
Members must keep their account information accurate and up to date. Accounts, passwords, social login information, verification methods, and payment methods may not be transferred, lent, shared, or pledged to third parties.
The Service uses generative AI to produce responses. AI Output is automatically generated and may be inaccurate, inappropriate, incomplete, or inconsistent.
AI Output does not replace professional advice in legal, medical, financial, tax, investment, mental-health, safety, or similar fields. Members must not rely on AI Output as the sole basis for important decisions.
Images shown in the Service are generally pre-registered or lawfully obtained images rendered in the service UI. Real-time image generation from chat input is not part of the default service scope.
Members may not copy, extract, distribute, sell, modify, train on, or post service images, character images, backgrounds, UI elements, or related assets without prior consent.
Members must not enter, create, store, share, or prompt AI or other users to create illegal, exploitative, abusive, privacy-invasive, rights-infringing, or otherwise unsafe content.
If violations, repeated policy circumvention, reports, legal risk, or user-protection concerns are identified, the operator may restrict content, conversations, features, accounts, or service access.
The operator may provide paid points and paid time-limited features. Before purchase, members should review product name, price, included points or features, period, payment method, usage conditions, withdrawal rights, and refund limitations.
Domestic Korean payments are currently processed through Toss Payments. Overseas payments are connected to Stripe Checkout. Payment approval and cancellation procedures may follow each payment provider's policies.
Members may request withdrawal within 7 days of purchasing paid points or paid services, but withdrawal or refund may be limited once points are used, digital content or online services begin, value is reduced due to the member's responsibility, or applicable law allows restriction.
If a member violates these Terms or operating policies, the operator may warn, restrict features, limit AI generation or point use, delete content, suspend or terminate the account, report to authorities, or take legal action according to the severity and reason.
The operator may provide important notices through service notices, notifications, or email. The operator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, fitness, continuity, or error-free nature of AI Output.
Disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea and will be brought before a competent court under applicable law.
